Saint Leo University Bachelor Degrees

Background and History

Saint Leo University, or SLU, was founded in 1889 in Florida as the first catholic college in that state. Throughout the institution’s history, Saint Leo grew in campus locations and degree programs. Today, SLU operates 16 main campuses and one online division. Saint Leo is also considered one of the largest providers of higher education to military personnel with many degree programs offered on various military bases. Saint Leo University envisions the continued offering of a practical, effective model for life and leadership in a challenging world through student-centered learning programs. Bachelor degree programs offered through Saint Leo University Online are in the areas of accounting, business, business administration, healthcare management, criminal justice, and computer information systems.

Accreditation and Job Placement

St Leo is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. A number of separate programs/schools are individually accredited by various accrediting agencies. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Job placement rates are not posted. Career services available to students and alumni include career development, job searches, internships, campus employment, and career services resources/reference material.
