A bachelor degree in retail management is a fairly specified degree that may be used for various types of management careers. Most retail management bachelor degrees are best associated with positions in general retail management, sales management, and merchandising. A bachelor degree in retail management is somewhat specific in nature to the type of career area and industry you are pursuing; however, there are many different types of management positions available for you to consider when job hunting. One of the management positions often granted to bachelor's degree holders in retail management is that of a sales manger. They also interview, hire and train employees, while scheduling and assigning job responsibilities.

According to the United States Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics, the job outlook for a career as a sales worker supervisor (or sales manger) is expected to increase between 0 and 8 percent (this is considered "growth more slowly than average") through the year 2014. *Note - the "sales worker supervisor (or sales manger)" outlook is used in this context as a general example of a possible position attainable with a bachelor's degree in retail management.
