Keiser University was founded by the Keiser family in 1977 after discovering a need in their Florida community. Keiser University is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and has a combine total of 12 campus-based schools and one web-based distance learning campus. Keiser's mission is to provide students with career preparation in desired degree programs while serving the community with partnerships and involvement. Bachelor degrees available through Keiser University Online are in the areas of accounting, business administration, criminal justice, health services administration, health sciences, information technology management, management information systems, and nursing.
Accreditation and Job Placement
Keiser University Online is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Separate academic programs are also individually accredited by various agencies. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Keiser job placement rates, according to "Boward Days" 2007, are at 94% statewide (Florida) with 86% of employment in the area of student study.
