ITT Technical Institute Bachelor Degrees

Background and History

ITT Technical Institute was founded in 1946 as Educational Services, Inc. Since 1969, ITT Tech has been headquartered in Carmel, Indiana. Today, ITT Tech operates over 85 campuses, including an online division, in over 30 states nationwide. This institution manages six types of schools (School of Information Technology, School of Drafting and Design, School of Electronics Technology, School of Business, School of Criminal Justice, and School of Health Sciences) to help students acquire knowledge in beginning a technology-based career. The online bachelor degree programs, offered out of Indianapolis, IN, are in the areas of business accounting technology, business administration, technical project management, construction management, criminal justice, and information systems security.

Accreditation and Job Placement

ITT Technical Institute’s accreditation is managed by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). ACICS is recognized as an independent accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education and Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Each school is accredited, or seeking accreditation, in which the state it operates. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Job placement rate is not posted. Career services provided by ITT Tech to students and alumni include job searches, interviewing, resume/cover letter writing and tips, salary negotiation, job retention, and networking.
