Herzing College Bachelor Degrees
Background and History
Herzing College was originally established as a computer programming school in 1965, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Today, Herzing College manages six United States campuses, five Canada campuses, and one online campus. Herzing College is committed to maintaining an accommodating, student-focused educational experience. The college also offers another learning approach, called "EdFlex." This program allows students to earn their degree by studying both online and at one of the resident campuses. Bachelor degrees available through Herzing College are in the areas of accounting, business administration, computer science, criminal justice, health care management, information technology, and legal studies.
Accreditation and Job Placement
Herzing College Online is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA). The Higher Learning Commission is recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education and is a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Job placement rates vary by location; however, the Atlanta campus recorded a 98% placement rate for all 2006 graduates. Career services offered through Herzing include resume writing, interviewing skills, and job search techniques.
