University of Denver Bachelor Degrees

Background and History

Denver University, or University of Denver (DU), was founded in 1864 and was originally known as Colorado Seminary. Throughout the years, the institution grew and is currently one of the most respected and well known universities in the world. The University of Denver has adapted well to change through the years and has added an online program based at DU’s graduate school called University College. Denver University Online is dedicated to providing students with the most innovative and relevant subjects for their degree choice, and offers specific learning tools designed for quick success. Accreditation and Job Placement

The University of Denver is regionally accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (NCACHE). NCACHE is a member of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Financial aid available for those who qualify. Job placement is not guaranteed and the rate of placement is not posted. DU does offer career services to both students and alumni. Available career aid includes campus career centers, professional networking resources, career development resources, and a mentoring program.
